McGowans is passionate about putting Irish sports in the spotlight. We’re based just down the road from the famous Croke Stadium, home of the GAA, and we’re proud to show Gaelic sports in our bar.
We’re known for many things here at McGowans; our nightlife, our beers, our seasonal cocktails, and our delicious food, but first and foremost, we’re known for being one of the best sports bars in downtown Dublin for a smashing night out.

With plenty of screens to watch on, there’s no shortage of space at this GAA sports bar! We’ve got room for everyone and their pals!
At McGowans, we’ve tried to make it as easy as possible for you and your group to come out and watch GAA events. We know it can be difficult to find space for big groups in a bustling city like Dublin, so we take bookings for up to 10 people in all of our spaces. We also offer room rentals for bigger groups.
