It’s the biggest party night of the year and the last hurrah before January looms its ugly head. New Year’s Eve can always be a tricky night to go out, especially in Dublin. You could find yourself in the city centre, scrambling to find a pub that isn’t packed and overpriced… or you can avoid all that and have a genuine Dublin New Year’s Eve in the heart of Phibs when you come to McGowans.
Cocktails on New Year’s Eve
What would a big party atmosphere be without a few fruity drinks to kick off the night? We’ll be serving up all our usual cocktails, as well as some special drinks for the night that’s in it.
Partying with friends on New Year’s Eve
Avoid the back and forth on the group text about where to go on New Year’s Eve and a million suggestions flying through. Forget about having to book taxis without knowing where you’re going when everyone is on the way to McGowans.
You’ll never have to worry about spending most of NYE walking around the club to find your friends when you come to McGowans. We may have three floors but you’ll never have to panic about missing the countdown together.
Just remember to grab a little bit of the bubbly in time for midnight.
Partying well into 2023
Some pubs and clubs will bring proceedings to a halt once the bells have rung in the new year, but that’s never the case at McGowans. You can party all night long at one of Dublin’s legendary late bars.
We have 2 DJs to keep you going until 3am so you can boogie until (almost) the break of dawn.
Party without having to book
To make sure everyone has a fair chance for a great New Year’s Eve, we don’t take bookings for the night but do recommend you come early as queues pick up the closer you get to midnight. Doors open from 8pm. €10 before 10pm, €15 after. We have Early Bird tickets available through EventBrite.
